Because I was experiencing flow issues with the Whaleman's Sepia in my Plumix, I decided to put it in a Preppy 05 and use it for a week or so and see how it went. Note, in the scan the ink looks black but in real life it's more brownish. Love the color... but the flow is pretty bad. I'd only recommend it in very wet writers.

Hmm this looks positively grey to me. If it has flow issues then I'm guessing it compares to Burma Road Brown. That one doesn't like to flow either.
ReplyDeleteI've got a sample of Whaleman's Sepia. I'm curious to see if it shows any brown (or sepia).
Thanks for confirming my own little experiments. It does little to enhance a Noodler Flex, and appears black rather than Sepia in any pen I used.
ReplyDeleteAnd the flow does seem slow compared to other inks I've used in the flex or Safari.
As a sepia-colour lover I was much disappointed.
