Please note that the scan makes the ink look darker than it really is. It's actually a bit lighter, with a tinge of orange (especially noticeable when using a dry nib).

I have a sample of this ink and can't wait to try it. Until then, I'm still not sure whether it's a shade of red, pink or orange. With your Esterbrook it looks reddish, while the Pilot sample is pinkish.
